19 May London AoC Equality, Diversity and Inspection workshop

E&D features highly in inspection and impacts on all key inspection judgments. 20 May London AoC Promoting British values, preparing learners for life in modern Britain

Ofsted have announced that future inspections will evaluate how well colleges actively promote Fundamental British Values (FBV) and prepare learners for life in modern Britain. But what exactly do we mean by FBV and how do we promote these college wide? How do we take a positive approach and avoid damaging relationships or alienating students or staff? How will this agenda impact on inspection?
