New guidance for HR staff on supporting employees affected by domestic abuse

Do you have a domestic abuse workplace policy that provides guidance for managers on how to manage and support an employee experiencing domestic abuse? The Equality and Human Rights Commission have published new guidance.
Domestic abuse currently costs UK businesses over 1.9 billions pounds a year. The new guidance, developed in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, outlines how employers should respond if an employee is affected by domestic abuse. The guide also supports employers to develop a domestic abuse workplace policy
