New guidance on employing older workers

Already over 50s form 27 per cent of the workforce. By 2020 it will be a third. Do you know how to make the most of this resource?
New guidance, by the Department for Work and Pensions, shows how employers can make the most of their workforce by maximising the skills and productive contribution of all their workers – younger and older – especially in the current economic climate.
The guidance provides answers to employer questions, and addresses common misconceptions about employing older workers, such as productivity, health, and ‘blocking’ opportunities for younger workers
