International Women’s Day

Today, 8th March 2013, is International Women’s Day, a day of global celebration marking the achievements of women. Many events are taking place, not just today but also throughout March to mark the occasion. Why not join in the celebrations and encourage staff and students in your organisation to take part in events?

This year the government has chosen the theme of preventing sexual violence. You might choose to use March to highlight the recent media coverage about female genital mutilation (see my news below)
